Cookout for Cannabis Reform

COOKOUT for CANNABIS REFORM

Fire up the grill for a cookout with Maryland NORML.

Please join us for an informative and fun-filled day in the sun with the Maryland chapter of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML). While we grill up hot dogs and hamburgers at Seneca Creek State Park, we will be discussing the current state of marijuana in Maryland and try to clear up any confusion on subjects such as the medical program, political prospects for 2018 and much, much more!

The state of Maryland is about to feel the effects of a legal cannabis industry like never before with the emerging medical program. We here at Maryland NORML ask that the attendees at the Maryland NORML Cookout for Cannabis Reform join us for a silent moment during the day’s celebration to recognize those who have suffered needlessly and those who have passed away from medical issues that could have been helped by the health benefits of cannabis. We also want to send well wishes and good thoughts to the represented officials of the State of Maryland and regulators of the Natalie M. LaPrade Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission - that they facilitate quality medicine and easy access to the patients of Maryland come later this year.

We will be inviting the press to witness the display of unity and compassion for this “Moment of Reflection.” Please spread the word and let’s get some attention for the cause! Remember, space is limited, so get there early or reserve your spot on our Facebook event or by RSVPing here! Bring your appetite, questions and positive energy as we say goodbye to the summer of ’17 and gear up for a fall and winter of epic proportions here in the “Free State!”
